Keng Meng is the Head of Regulatory Affairs, South-Asia (SEA & India) in Arxada. He received his Ph.D. (Biochemistry) in 1999 from the National University of Singapore. He was awarded a full-cost Chevening Scholarship to study law in the UK and received his LLM with Distinction (Commercial Law) from Aberdeen University, UK in 2003. In 2005, he joined Johnson & Johnson Consumer where he was responsible for the safety assessment of cosmetic ingredients and products in Asia Pacific. He is a member of the ASEAN Cosmetics Association Safety & Toxicology Committee (ACA-SAT) for more than 12 years and is currently the Deputy Vice-President of ACA-SAT. He is a member of the Australasian College of Toxicology and Risk Assessment (ACTRA) and listed in the Professional Register. In addition to his work in the cosmetics and personal care sector, he has been reappointed as a member of the Singapore Technical Committee on Marine & Offshore and is the Convenor of the Singapore Working Group on Anti-Fouling Technologies & Ballast Water Treatment. Prior to joining Arxada, he also served in regulatory and toxicology roles in Diversey and Janssen PMP.
