You are warmly invited to the opening ceremony of the Advanced Nanoanalysis Lab at the A*STAR's Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE).
IMRE has acquired a state-of-the-art aberration-corrected Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) from Thermo Fisher Scientific, elevating A*STAR's capabilities in advanced characterisation and analysis to new heights. Equipped with aberration-corrected optics, monochromator, ultrafast detectors/cameras and various powerful in-situ functions, the new microscope provides the highest energy and spatial resolution information at atomic scale in Singapore for investigating a wide range of materials.
During the ceremony, the microscopists from NUS and NTU will introduce their microscope facilities and capabilities, followed by the application scientist from Thermo Fisher Scientific to induce the functions of the new microscope installed in IMRE. This will largely enhance both fundamental research and advanced material design/applications for industry in Singapore.
Don't miss the chance to witness this exceptional equipment firsthand and gain valuable insights from both industry leaders and academia!
*Limited seats available, on a first come first served basis.
Registration closes on 4 Sep 2024.
